A small handful of friends and colleagues from academia seem to be turning to the internet to share, more broadly with the world, what they are doing in their professional lives and to connect with others who may be interested in what they are doing. So, I thought I would follow suit: I’ve acquired my own domain name, created this website, and decided to use this platform to create a more virtual presence.

As with any academic, our lives are taken up by teaching, scholarly activity and research, and service; I have shared these things on this site as well; just check out the various links to these activities in the main menu.

When I began to construct this website, I was just starting my sabbatical. So, I thought I would also use this space to share on-going reflections about texts that I am reading, ideas that I am mulling over, and some of the writing projects I working on. So, I invite you to take a look at my Sabbatical Reflections, which you can find by going to the Reflections link in the main menu. I look forward to engaging with you about my on-going work and interests.

Last, I also invite you to follow me on Twitter and to check out my LinkedIn page. Just click on the appropriate links and you’ll be taken to those platforms.
